Where did you grow up? Nevada, Missouri
What influenced you to get into music? I wanted to be a songwriter, I really liked all types of music. Then when the Alternative music movement arrived in the early 90's, it was cool that the songs were easy to play and I though hey anyone can do this, I want to start a garage band.
Were you always solo, or did you start off playing in bands? I started in an existing cover band playing bars and private parties. Then I got my own Alternative band together and started doing original songs and recorded an album. Later I joined a national touring group and did the solo project on the side until 2011, where I have been focused on it since.
Where do you record? Point Lookout Studio located in the Branson, Missouri area.
What is your songwriting process? I write what I want to say then go back and put music to it. But every once in a while, I write a cool riff or groove and then put words to it.
Do you write and produce for other artists? I have helped produce for many, as well as studio musician work. I have co-wrote a few songs for other bands, but not many.
What is your local music scene like? Are they supportive of each other? Yes, very supportive.
How often do you perform? Currently, about 20 shows a year.
Tell us about your latest project. The newest project is a Best of CD that includes most of my best stuff, ones that got the most radio play or the ones the fans know and like most.
What can we expect from you in the future? Another full length studio album, Online TV show and movie, and several full band performances in larger theaters.
